GR1M01RE

When logic fails and we are at our wits’ end, we are all a little ‘stitious.

Here you’ll find a list of the various charms available through Charm-Tek. We are listing our full GR1M01RE online as we believe in open-source spelling, but would appreciate attribution should you share our charms or make them for distribution. We offer online purchasing for spell jars and charm dongles in-person through our official vendor, MYST1CS, and, maybe some day, Etsy. If you need particular charms, feel free to reach out via our contact page to let us know and we can work something out.

You will find only white-hat spells on our site, as we don’t dabble in anything gray, or black hat. Too many bad vibes there! Nor will you find any charms that are of questionable consent. All our charms require the bespelled to activate them personally and intentionally and will influence the flow of the universe around you. None of these charms can or will promise immediate and direct results, but with repeated usage, and belief, you may find yourself noticing results.

Turing’s Lockpick

The world wasn’t ready for Alan Turing, but we are! Tap into the genius of Alan Turing to help you unpick the most complex of locks: physical, electronic, or metaphorical.

To make a spell jar, pick any container you feel is right, and put in Mossy Agate, lock pins, lock springs, salt, and selenite.

To use, hold the charm in your hand, concentrate on the puzzle you want to solve, and speak aloud the trigger phrase, “Fuck you, homophobes!”

To recharge, lock in a box. The more layered, or more complex, the locks, the better the charge.

Hopper’s Bugs Away

Grace Hopper needed one of these charms to keep the moths out of her computers! Now you can be at ease with your very own Hopper’s Bugs Away charm. For use in preventing, finding, and eradicating bugs within yours or others code.

To make a spell jar, pick an appropriately sized container, and put in ethically sourced moth wings, salt, selenite, and a rubber duck. Wrap in copper wire.

To use, hold the charm in your hand, concentrate on the code you need to debug, and speak aloud the trigger phrase, “Begone, moths!”

To recharge, set charm on a windowsill where it will get ample moonlight. The longer it has to sit in the moonlight, the better it will perform.

Mercator’s Wayfinder

Mercator couldn’t draw a scale map to save his own hide, but that won’t stop you finding your way with this charm! For finding your way physically, metaphorically, spiritually, economically, ecumenically, technologically…

To make a spell jar, pick a container that spins well, then add copper carbonate, road dust, magnets and/or hematite, and suspend in the liquid of your choice.

To use, put the charm on the table and spin it, then speak aloud the trigger phrase, “Where am I going?”

To recharge, store in a folded map. The older and more inaccurate the map, the more power the charm will have.

Rosie’s Job Riveter

Jobs come and go and come again, but this charm can help speed up the process! Use to help you find a good job, escape a bad one, or get that well deserved promotion/raise/ lateral move/new manager.

To make a spell jar, pick any container you feel is right, and put in selenite, rainbow fluorite, and gold dust suspended in a liquid of your choice.

To use, shake this charm, concentrate on your job goals, and speak aloud the trigger phrase, “We Can Do It!”

To recharge, set charm on a windowsill where it will get ample sunlight but only M-F, 8am-5pm.

Churchill’s Silver Tongue

Winston Churchill was known for being witty, persuasive, and always ready with a comeback. Now you can, too! With Churchill’s Silver Tongue, you are ready to persuade, charm, intimidate or convince just about anyone.

To make a spell jar, include pearls, silver powder, honey, and suspend it in a liquid of your choice.

To use, hold the charm in your hand, concentrate on the conversation you want to have or the presentation you need to give, and speak aloud the trigger phrase, “We shall fight!”

To recharge, drip alcohol of your choice on the spell jar and let it soak up some moonlight. The better the booze, the better the charge. For non-alcoholic versions, the vice of your choice will suffice.

Woz’s Better Builder

Steve Wozniak had a vision for a sleek, effective, and efficient piece of hardware, and you do to too. Use this spell jar to ward your newest builds from all sorts of ailments, including, but not limited to, broken pins and corroded contacts.

To make a spell jar, pick a largish container, put a layer of salt and copper carbonate at the bottom along with selenite crystals, and wrap copper wire around the outside.

To use, drop a spare bit of wire from your build into the jar, and speak aloud the trigger phrase, “Why won’t you work?!”

Leave all wire in the jar, each time adding to the collection to increase effectiveness. Store in a cool, dark environment to keep from overheating.
